Horsham District Council announced that 2019 will be its Year of Culture with a range of events and activities taking place to celebrate the culture and heritage that we have throughout the district.

Henfield has decided to participate with its own 2019 Year of Culture and to encourage local people and organisations to organise events and activities which celebrate our own culture and heritage. We hope this will be interesting and entertaining for our residents and encourage visitors to come along and join in. We have also agreed to work in partnership with our neighbours in Woodmancote and Shermanbury and we hope that the activities will take place across our three parishes. Henfield Community Partnership has agreed to take on the task of leading and organising our Year of Culture events and Liz Taylor has agreed to Chair the Organising Committee.
